Additional functions

• Facilitating the staffing of all UFH emergency departments and emergency medical services
• Helping to draft policy and procedures for UFH emergency medicine services
• Hosting programs that enhance the maintenance of current knowledge and continuous education of UFH emergency medicine physicians and physicians of other specialties
• Hosting life support education programs to internal and external stakeholders
• Developing and conducting interdisciplinary education curriculum to healthcare providers who are interested in emergency medicine
• Serving as a multi-disciplinary resource on a wide range of disaster and emergency medicine topics internally and externally
